Espeka USA and Christopher Designs purchase offices at the International Gem Tower

Date:
13 December 2011

Antwerp-based Espeka and New York diamond manufacturer Christopher Designs announced today that they are moving their New York headquarters to the International Gem Tower. The two firms join the elite group of domestic and international diamond, gem and jewelry companies that have purchased office space in the new building, currently under construction in New York's Diamond District.

"For over 45 years, our firm has provided our network of international customers with only the finest diamonds," commented Sami Pruwer, president and owner of Espeka. "We pride ourselves on having a great eye for quality in all aspects of our business, and we see exceptional value in relocating to the International Gem Tower. It will be the only building in the Diamond District that can provide the level of service and quality that our customers have come to expect."

Christopher Slowinski, founder and owner of Christopher Designs, a New York based manufacturer of fine jewelry and renowned for his Crisscut design said, "I have been considering purchasing an office in the Gem Tower for a while and not only has the tower gone up but so have prices. The building will be completed in less than one year and I wanted to secure the right size and location for my business."

"We've been experiencing a significant up tick in overall deal flow this past quarter," noted Extell President Gary Barnett. "With the near topping out of steel and installation of the curtain wall on the tower floors now underway, the building is starting to capture the attention of those buyers who had been waiting on the sidelines.  We are running low on our inventory of larger format units and expect to announce a number of major deals over the next several weeks.  I believe the announcements by Espeka and Christopher Designs will add to the momentum in the market."
